I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this title. This is book 5 in the Dirty Suburbs series and the 5th book I have read from this author. I love this series!! This book is about Nicholas, a computer tech geek from Silicon Valley and Blakely, a virgin college girl who secretly writes erotic books. Nicholas needs a break from the long days of writing code and developing new technologies so his friend Wesley sets him up with a job setting up a new computer system in the little town of Reyfield along with a place to stay.....with Blakely. If you have read the other books in the series you have met Blakely. She is the sister of the yoga/spa owner, Isla. Blakely is extremely shy and gets really nervous around new people....especially guys. Once Nicholas moves in Blakely avoids him at all costs which only increases their instant chemistry. After a while Nicholas reaches his breaking point and ends of kissing Blakely. Blakely wants inspiration for her writing so they strike a deal to have Nicholas teach Blakely all about sex....but Nicholas is hiding something. Will the teacher/student relationship turn into something more? Or will Nicholas' secret tear them apart? Great quick read and I would definitely recommend it and the rest of the series!
Nicholas is looking for a break from his hectic Silicon Valley life. He gets what wants in an offer from his friend's hometown. Including a place to stay.Blakeley can't believe the geek who is supposed to be her new temporary roommate is so gorgeous looking. She can't even look at him without blushing and stammering out sentences.Things get real interesting when Nicholas almost burns down the apartment and during his clean up discovers Blakely's secret.Come back to Reyfield, Illinois and watch the heat flare in a 500 sq ft apartment. You won't be disappointed.Ms. Miller has come through again.
This was my least favorite of the series. There were a quite a few of editing issues with the wrong word being used and missing words. I just couldn't get into the main male character very well. He seemed to be self loathing and it bothered me.I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this title.
Once I started this book I didn’t want to put it down. Two socially awkward people end up becoming roommates. Will they be able to open themselves up to love? Will their awkwardness keep them from finding love?
Loved the story between Nicholas and Blakely! Very sweet and sexy. There were some obvious grammatical errors missed by editors. If not for them, definitely 5 stars.
This was, by far, my last favourite Dirty Suburbs book.Not being neurotypical myself, I was excited to read this, but it soon turned to dismay.Nicholas is an unlikable, self-loathing PITA, and Blakely should've told him to GTFO several times.The drama, like some other books of Cassie-Ann's, is unnecessary and if either if the main characters brought up their issues, rather than mope to themselves assuming they know what the other is thinking, there would be no drama. And then I'd be a much happier reader. If you want drama, make it something bigger, something that takes more than acting like an adult to overcome.I'll still be reading this series, but once it's finished I don't think I'll be reading anything more from Cassie-Ann. I need something more than tween drama from my reading material.
Great book !!! Love that 2 people that feel that they are weird and don't let many in find each other and that no disability interferes with true love !!! Love this sweet sexy hot emotional book !!
Another great read. The characters were easy to love. The plot was interesting with lots of action and sex. Can't wait for the next one
