This book is great for beginning beginners. Not for people who read up on crypto daily.I will not be HODLing this book.

The single worst book (of any type) I've come across in years! The level of detail and writing style is terrible. This book is not worth your time or money. I found this book posted multiple times...and was showing a 5 stars (what a bunch of bull). The necessary and essential details related to Ethereum, blockchain, DAO, and descriptions about the "the potential" of the related technologies are 'absent' from this book. There are much better resources than this.

Easy read, fun to learn about.

I enjoyed the book. This was actually my first audiobook, and I will never go back. The voice isn't the most exciting (to be fair, it is a fairly boring topic). However, the book was full of usefull information. I did not learn much, but I did learn more about the difference between Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. I would say this book would be more suited for "noobs"? lol. If you have never really experienced cryptocurrency then you will really learn alot from this book. He goes into detail on different types of wallets and exchanges with lists of pros and cons. I already have several GPUs mining away, so I was very familar to this topic already. But like I said, someone just starting out will learn alot from this!

Just trying to explain what ethereum is and some basics. No technical stuff. Most discussions are shallow. Ok to know but not enough.

It's a good short read for someone new to Ethereum and Blockchain. Would definitely recommend anyone that have heard about Ethereum but don't know what it actually is to read it. However, do not expect to become an expert after reading it, it should only be a start

Great job with this, it's detailed, it gets into the tech but it stays to true to a basic reading level in terms of being accessible for the masses. I learned a lot from this book.

Danielle Ofri's book, What Doctors Feel, is one that should be required reading in all medical schools, and it should also be read by all patients to help them better navigate the undercurrents of their relationships and experiences with their doctors, particularly, as these undercurrents involve the generally unspoken emotions and fears of, and the risks to, their physicians.As both a long-time patient with extremely complex medical conditions, and someone who has always been fascinated by medicine (I read medical textbooks for fun as a teenager), I thought that my knowledge of the world of doctors and medicine was more than adequate. Yet, after reading Ofri's book, one physician's apology to me, and another's visceral reaction to the suggestion by another physician that he perform a surgery on me that might be medically necessary, but that would, inevitably, leave me disabled to some degree, took on entirely different shadings and nuances, and I learned a great deal that I would never have otherwise known.Yet, do not get the idea that this book is dry, or aimed at teaching some sort of lesson, or written to either apologize for or explain away the negative behaviors of physicians. Quite the opposite on all counts. The book is engaging, enlightening, compelling, and brilliantly written. What might indeed have been dry material in other hands is, quite literally, a page-turner in Ofri's. I read the book cover-to-cover in two sittings. As readers, we learn about how the doctors in the book feel through their encounters with patients, some whom they have grown to love, and through the tortuous and exacting training that medical students endure in order to become physicians. And, we too, grow to love some of the patients, and to empathize with both the doctors and their patients, and we care about their stories as much as we do about the stories of our favorite fictitious characters. Yet, every person and every story in this book is real--each was lived by fellow human beings, and we come to care deeply about every one of them.Both my husband and I are professors, and we both plan to use the book in our classes. While he is a classicist, who will use the book in a class about illness and injury, praise and blame, I am a philosopher, and I will use the book in a writing class about confronting moral dilemma. We choose our books carefully, always with an eye to picking texts that our students will love to read, and this book is one that we will use for years, I am quite sure.I give this book my highest recommendation.

As a patient with a chronic illness who has seen a large number if doctors, I can only wish this book (or Jerome Groopman's work) were required reading. My own illness was the direct result of a surgeon's error. The surgeon's ego led to compounding the problem. Dr. Ofri is correct when she says apologies go a long way toward healing. She correctly states doctors need to spend more time with their patients (& she does this despite what is surely a high volume general practice). I find a lot of parallels in what is written about fear of judgement in medicine & my own profession. I can also state that my doctors who talk to me & lay out my options are doctors are I'm more willing to return to, & try to work with. Judgement goes both ways, and I'm often judged by my doctors.I also experience the unwillingness to take on patients who are difficult. I'm a risk, and my doctors are afraid I'm going to sue. Doctors also defend each other; they don't want to hear that one if their fellows did anything like THIS. So, read this if you want to know why your doctors treat you the way they do, and doctors read this so you can understand why patients need you to listen.

All the insight in regards to the world of medicine along with the weaving of Julia's story took me on ride that I didn't want to get off of. This book was beautiful and it brought me to tears. I loved it and loved learning more about the path I am heading down. This book let me now that I am doing exactly what I am meant to be doing and made me even more excited about what is to come. I recommend it to absolutely everyone.

Dr. Daniele Ofri has captured the essence of what all caring physicians experience in the care of their patients. This book should be required reading for students, residents, patients and attendings. Although I disagree with her interpretation of Osler’s Aequinimitas, she lays bare the heart and soul of medical practice. I can hardly do justice to the tears and joys of my own journey that she has illuminated with high fidelity. Having also finished her book “What patients say, what doctors hear”, every medical school and residency should incorporate both of her books into their curricula immediately.

This book deepened my understanding of doctors as human beings who happen to be tasked with making life and death decisions all day, every single day. Each of us can recount bad experiences with doctors, but this book was excellent in exposing underlying factors contributing to those experiences. How Doctors Feel is definitely worth reading especially for patients and caregivers. I came away with greater empathy for the "people" practicing the profession.

Much of the map is taken up with a list of streets, in type that is too small to read. We spent 5 days in Madrid, and the best map was the one from the pocket guide to Madrid by Lonely Planet. A close second is the free map available from all the hotels.

This map appears to be of good quality (durable), very good detail but still easy to read, includes the Metro lines and lists virtually all of the Madrid tourist attractions I found in the travel books (Fodors, Frommer, etc.). The map is considerably wider than it is tall. The dimensions are about 27 in. wide and about 8 in. tall. The northern half of the city is shown on on one side of the map and the southern half is shown on the other side.My only complaint is that, when switching from the north to the south or (south to north) sides, you can't just flip the map over vertically to find that continuing street. Instead you have to flip the map the long way (flip end to end instead of top to bottom). This may not seem like a big deal, but, for me at least, I find I am constantly flipping the map the wrong way and working a bit harder to find the street I was looking for.Interestingly, I also purchased a Streetwise map of Barcelona. The Barcelona map flips the logical way.

Wow -- the level of detail this map shows was a life-saver. I stayed in Madrid for ~ 1 week and was walking everywhere - no car. My AirBNB stay-over was on a tiny street that would not have been shown on most other maps.This was also useful for an overview of the rail system (does not show all the stops, but enough to find main intersections and stations). This map is compact enough that I could fit it inside a small purse, and it's very light as well.

The free maps distributed at every hotel were much better and easier to read unless (1) you wanted to see Metro routes superimposed on the map and (2) you were planning to visit the norther parts of the city, e.g., Salmanaca. I found the type way too small.

On the plus side this map is small and easier to carry and thick material so it may be longer lasting. On the minus side, the graphics are smaller and what you're looking for will likely be harder to find.

Another excellent Streetwise map. The Madrid map was invaluable when I was in Spain. Tough and laminated, the map is definitely up to the rigors of travel. Even with Google maps on my phone, I always carried this streetwise map around town with me. It's convenient, easy to read, easy to navigate, and rugged.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this map. It seems that it will be very durable. Size is too large to fit in a back pocket, however I think the maps would be too hard to read if they were any smaller. It will fit easily in my purse.

I've used Streetwise maps in Rome, Barcelona and Madrid. They are so helpful whether you're walking or taking the the metro! A must if you don't have language or gps to fall back on.

there are many great photos and locations to visit in this book, but the way it's laid out is difficult to follow. it's divided by longitude, which is unique, but within those divisions, there is no flow to the destinations. it would be very difficult to find all the information about a single country, it's just strewn throughout the book.

The book's content is okay- brief snippets of information about various sites around the world. The images in the book are a bit disappointing, there is not vibrancy in the photos. The book was also purchased as a gift and came (either due to pre- or post- shipping handling) with bent edges- I was hesitant to gift it because it looked used.

Could be the best gift ever! My boys love this book, trips to take are all over the world and are arranged by order of their GPS location as well as desired effect of trip whether it be educational, fun, romantic, etc.! Stunning photography too makes it a pleasure to leaf through as well as display for your guests.

Got this for my dad as a birthday gift, he loves it and is actually changing some of his travel plans to do some of the unique things written about in the book. I also enjoyed looking through the content, it’s nicely laid out and easy to skim through based on area.

Nice destinations are listed. But the way the destinations are organized is not practical for a regular traveller. They are arranged by longitudes which makes it really confusing if you want to explore a particular region you want to travel.

I ordered this after I glanced though this book in the store, selling for quite a bit more money, and immediately wanted to keep reading. There are so many creative ideas that your "bucket list" will become full very quickly. As you read, the ideas start at the most northern part of the world and work down to the most southern. The ideas are typically a few quick sentances which makes it very fast to read.

This is a great book to give individuals getting ready to retire or graduate college. Beautiful pictures.
